I couldn't miss this. The Sun was just shining directly above this old worn road creating some phenomenal sight. Like a road leading to Heaven. Well, it is just leading to a small hotel with a lake, but anyway, everyone can dream a little :)

Picture was taken with my old Olympus C2500L.

- An impression of ancient England in the Peak District, above Edale. It is certainly one beautiful place, too bad it is so far from where I live. A place where one could really imagine dragons soaring.

- A bridge over the two parts of an abandonned public pool facility in Hungary, in the city of Miskolc. This broken bridge could well represent my mood back then. That was one of my last days in Miskolc, near the Bükk mountains, one of the most beautiful parts of the country where I lived for years. I hated university, but probably I hate more large cities where I have to live nowadays for my job.

- Just an another large European Green Lizard shot, this time exploiting the capabilities of my old Olympus C2500L camera even better than in the past year - at least I believe so. This one did not even need post-processing at the colour department, it just came out all right. It was one of the good results of a trip targeting especially these lizards.

- An another composition which incidentally turned out rather good. Hairy bug in a dandelion. I don't know what kind of bug is it, but looks spiffy with that white fur.

- Common Wall Lizards, in early spring. The weather is still spring-like, the nights are cold, so probably that was why I found these lizards together (there were four here in total, I just could'n get more than two at once in one reasonable picture).

- What child's toys were like just a quarter century ago? Looking back it feels quite strange that how those all turned sort of history, all those things I had in my childhood still found in my room at my parent's. A short article comes so with some photographs on some notable pieces.

- A pixel work which turned out quite good considering it's age. As I remember I did this on my old 25MHz 4.86, but sure that in Deluxe Paint II (DOS). The anatomy of the cheetah is not entirely right, but in overall the image works.

- EL-9 battery powered electrical mine engine in Kemence, Börzsöny. This engine is mostly used for track maintenance due to it's slower speed, but might come useful in passenger service if the upper parts of the track will ever be re-opened, for it's environmentally friendly operation. It runs very silently compared to just about any of the others!

- The Ferris Wheel of Budapest Amusement Park. We took a ride on it even at night, it was interesting, but not for photographing. The wheel slowly advancing was not really suitable for night shots with long exposure.

- Pheasant's Eye on Odvaskö, near the Budapest, capitol of Hungary. The mountain is rather bald, just a few shrubs grow on it, but if one looks closely and at the right seasons, quite an interesting wildlife might show itself even here! This bald mountain is even the home of one of the only two spiders in Hungary whose venom could be deadly (Deadly, eh? When I was younger I kept one of these in a home-made terrarium for a few months).

- In the summer, as in the previous years, I visited two narrow gauge railways for some voluntary work. One is the industrial railway of Szegvár of which I already have an older article here, the other which I started visiting in last summer is Kemence in Börzsöny. Thanks to the frequent rains the country was very nice this year, even though it gave us quite a mess to clean up at Szegvár.
